Status check




- Ignition on.
- Read off diagnostic trouble code (DTC) counter and make a note of the value.
- Disconnect the Scan Tool (ST) from the VIDA station.
- Use Volvo Scan Tool (ST) in stand alone mode and connect to data link connector (DLC) in the car.





Is counter value greater than 0?

Yes - Faulty signal. Intermittent fault

No - Data read-out

Read off all data from the combined instrument panel control module and note values.
