Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-311 is stored if engine speed (RPM) exceeds 3.330 rpm, internal load signal is above 6.5 ms and road speed is below 2 km/h for 7.5 seconds.

Substitute value
- engine control module (ECM) assumes 0 km/h
- leakage diagnostic is disabled.

Possible source
- short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in signal cable
- open-circuit in signal cable
- contact resistance in terminals
- defective speedometer
- fault in circuit between ABS control module and combined instrument panel.

Fault symptom[s]
- no reading on speedometer, depending on fault cause.
