EFI-411 Throttle position (TP) sensor signal
Checking power cable
- Ignition off.
- Disconnect throttle position (TP) sensor.
- Ignition on.
Connect a voltmeter between throttle position (TP) sensor connector terminal 2 and ground.
The voltmeter should read approximately 5 V.
OK - Checking cables and terminals
Not OK - Check cable between throttle position (TP) sensor terminal 2 and engine control module (ECM) #A15 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
