Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-532 is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers a short-circuit in terminal A43.

Substitute value
- the ignition discharge module (IDM) is disabled until the fault has disappeared

Possible source
- short-circuit to supply voltage or ground in terminal A43.
- defective control module.
