If the control module registers that there is a fault in the glass breakage sensor microphone or if communication between the microphone and the internal control module it is judged as faulty when: The alarm system is voltage charged or the alarm activated or deactivated, Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) GLA-422 is stored after approximately 2 seconds.

Fault symptom[s]
- The indicator LED in the sun sensor flashes for 15 seconds when the ignition is switched on.
- The system will not trigger the alarm if there is glass breakage in the passenger compartment
