- Go into rolling values.




- Read off tilt sensor status.
The value should be NODETEC.

Is the value NODETEC?

Yes - Intermittent fault

No - Checking cables

- Expose tilt sensor for the 4-door according to Replacing the tilt sensor (2/4-door) Service and Repair.
Check cable between control module #A17 and tilt sensor #3 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Remedy as necessary.









Were any faults found in the cable?

Yes - Verification

No - Replacing component

Try a new tilt sensor according to Replacing the tilt sensor (2/4-door) Service and Repair.

- Reinstall connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
- Go into rolling values.
- Read off tilt sensor status.
