Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) GLA 453 is stored if the control module registers that the input signal from the immobilizer is less than 1.5 V for-10 seconds when the alarm is activated.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in signal cable.

Fault symptom[s]
- When the ignition is switched on the LED flashes at 4 Hz for 15 seconds.
- The car is immobilized.
