- Disconnect the interior control switch for opening the fuel tank filler cover according to Door panel switch, replacement Removal and Replacement.
- Disconnect the control switch.
- Go into rolling values.
- Read control switch status.

Is the value HIGH?

Yes - Replacing component

No - Checking cables

Check cable between control switch #1 and driver's door lock unit #C6 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Check cable between control module #A18 and driver's door lock unit #C2 and control module #A16 and driver's door lock unit #C4 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
