Erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
The control module is very sensitive to maltreatment, the connector must be removed from the control module before the control module is removed.
Voltage should not be supplied when the control module is removed voltage. If Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) are stored the cause of the fault should be established and avoided in the future.
The first time a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored it can be erased.

Note! All other diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) must be intermittent before they can be erased.




- Erase the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC).

Yes - Verification

No - Replacing the component

Try replacing the control module according to Replacing the Roll-over Protection System (ROPS) module Service and Repair.





Select Continue when the fault has been remedied.

Hint: After repairs have been completed they must be verified as follows to ensure that the fault has been eliminated.








- Ignition off.
- Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc.
- Ignition on.
- Wait at least 10 seconds for the control module to carry out its diagnostic.
Read off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
