Checking movement sensor function




- Ignition off.
- Remove key from ignition switch.
- Close all the doors including hood and tailgate.
- Open driver's door window completely.
- Lock the car using the remote control to arm the alarm.
- Wait approximately 25 seconds (so that the alarm goes into monitoring mode).
- Lean into the car and wave your arms.

Note! Be ready to shut off the alarm by unlocking the car with the remote control, the alarm is very loud.

The alarm should be triggered - it should produce audible and visible alarms.

Is this function OK?

Yes - No Fault Found

No - Replacing component

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows:
