Dashboard
The dashboard is similar to that in the S70/V70.
The top section is available in two variants - a standard version and a special version if the car is equipped with RTI or a centrally mounted loudspeaker.

Note! RTI and a central loudspeaker cannot be combined

Interior rear-view mirror
In addition to the standard version, the interior rear-view mirror is available in an autodim version as an option.
The mirror is provided with two sensors, one facing forward and designed to detect daylight, while the other faces to the rear to detect light from traffic behind. The sensor signals are transmitted to an electronic circuit in the mirror, which compares them to determine if the driver may be dazzled.
If so, the circuit supplies current to a an electrically conductive layer in the mirror, initiating an electrochemical process which darkens the glass and produces the same effect as tilting an ordinary rear-view mirror.
If, for any reason, the driver does not wish the mirror to be dimmed, the automatic function can be disabled by means of a push-button on the bottom of the mirror.

Rear seat
The rear seat is provided with two individual seat positions.
The backrest is fixed and cannot be folded forward. An opening for loading long items is provided behind the armrest.

Centre console
The front section is similar to that in the S70/V70.
The rear section is extended as far as the rear seat, and is designed for an ashtray and cigarette lighter, which are standard/optional depending on the market.

Door panels
The door panels are provided with similar controls to those in the S70/V70. Each panel is designed to accommodate two loudspeakers.

Side panels
Each of the side panels is provided with a storage compartment with a lid which is opened and closed by means of a push-button and magnet arrangement.

Manual operation of fuel filler cover
The fuel filler cover can be opened manually by cable if the electrical opening function becomes faulty. The cable-operated opening lever is mounted on the inside of the side panel beside the right-hand rear light.
