Convertible Top Latch: Adjustments

CHB5 Adjustment of Rear Lock Arms:
Move hood cover the position shown on the image, but hood cover lock should not be locked. It should be possible to lift in the hood cover without operating the rear lock arms.





Remove:
- hood cover link.
- drive wire, rear lock arm. Service and Repair

NOTE: Front edge of lock catch and edge of tension frame lock link should be parallel when in the engaged position.

Measure distance down to lock as shown in the image. Distance should be the same on both sides when in the engaged position. Distance from upper side of hood cover link down to lock should be approximately 22 mm (0.87") from hood cover.

Adjust as necessary on drive shaft rear lock arm.
