CHH5 Removal of Sealing Strip:





- Move hood to the position shown in the image.





- Remove 4 pop rivets from sealing strip.

CAUTION: Handle strip with care.





TIP: When drilling out pop rivets, place a piece of fuel hose on the upper part of the drill bit to avoid damaging the strip.

NOTE: Remove the rivet heads and remove drill swarf using a vacuum so that nothing remains that might rattle.

- Remove sealing strip.

CHH6 Installation of Sealing Strip:
- Install sealing strip so that it touches the other sealing strip on rear side window.
- Install in reverse order.

NOTE: Use 12 mm (0.47") pop rivets. Install the front rivet first.

- Check that window is tight against sealing strip.
