Connecting the breakout box to the combined instrument panel




- Ignition off.
- Expose combined instrument panel according to Replacing the combined instrument panel Replacing the Combined Instrument Panel.
- Disconnect combined instrument panel.
- Check that the male and female terminals in the combined instrument panel and cable harness connectors are intact and secure and that the wiring to the female terminals is properly attached to the terminal.
- Check the terminals relevant to the diagnostic trouble code (DTC)/symptom especially well.
- Connect adapter 981 3194 Replaced by 9511495 981 3194 Replaced by 951 1495 to combined instrument panel connectors A and B and connect the breakout box 981 3190 Replaced by 9511428 981 3190 Replaced by 951 1428 to adapter.
