Procedures

Removing Inlet Hose
- Remove throttle pulley cover.
- Remove inlet hose to air cleaner (ACL).





Removing Inlet Hose
- Remove fresh air intake between air cleaner and throttle body (TB).
- Remove link between throttle pulley and throttle body.





Removing Throttle Body
- Remove the connector from the throttle position (TP) sensor.
- Remove throttle body from intake manifold.





Installing Throttle Position Sensor
- Move throttle position sensor to new throttle body. Tightening torque 2 ±0.5 Nm.

NOTE: The throttle position sensor is not adjustable.

- Install a new gasket on the throttle body.





Installing Throttle Body
- Install the new throttle body on the intake manifold. Tightening torque 7 Nm.
- Connect connector to throttle position sensor.





Checking Link
- Undo link locknut.
- Pull back link as far as possible, release one end and check that the link springs back easily to innermost position.





Installing Link
- Locate link.
- Check that the throttle spindle is in contact with the adjustment screw and that the throttle pulley is in contact with the idling stop.
- Tighten link locknut
- Open and close throttle, check that the throttle spindle is in contact with the adjustment screw when the throttle is closed.





Adjusting Throttle Cable
- Pulley should move easily without sticking.
- The cable should be taut in idling position but must not affect throttle pulley position. Pulley should seat against idling stop. Adjust cable as required.
- Press accelerator pedal (AP) to floor and check that pulley seats against full-load stop.





Installing Fresh Air Intake
- Install fresh air intake between air cleaner and throttle body.

Installing Intake Manifold
- Install inlet hose to air cleaner.
- Throttle pulley cover.
