Condition
- No diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored.
- Starter motor is working.
- Timing belt intact.
- The fault is permanent.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in fuel pump (FP) relay ground lead, signal cable or power cable.
- Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in fuel pump (FP) relay) signal cable.
- Contact resistance in terminals and ground terminals.
- Defective fuel pump relay.
