New features
S70/V70 has a new front bumper mounting.
This is the same as the rear mounting and consists of a plate screwed onto the tront side member.
The S70 has a new, one-piece trim strip around the fixed side window. The high level stop (brake) lamps on the S70/V70 have been moved from the lower to the upper edge of the rear windshield.
The stop (brake) lamps on the V70 must be removed in order to replace the rear windshield.
Replacing bumper mounting
The bumper mounting is secured to the front side member by two screws (Ml 0).
Trim Strip around quarterwindow
The trim strip is a one piece component.
Remove:
- Insert a weatherstrip tool between the trim strip and rubber seal.
- Pry straight out.
Install:
- Press trim strip into place.
Ensure that the mountings line up with the holes in the rubber strip.
