G4 Checking If Central Locking System Works

Switch ignition off.
Replace central locking relay D/G.
Lock all doors.




Connect a lead to position 4.
Bridge to position 6 for approx. 1 second.
Central locking system should move to unlocked position.

Bridge to position 3 for approx. 1 second.
Central locking module should go to locked position.

If the central locking system unlocks and locks:
Install new central locking switch.

If any operation does not work:
Open-circuit in one of the leads from the central locking switch to the central locking relay base.
Correct fault or install new lead.

If the system will neither lock nor unlock:
Go to step C23. System Completely Inoperable
