Checking Ignition Spark

Checking Ignition Spark
- Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect ignition coil.
- Put a new spark plug in the ignition coil.
- Place the spark plug against the engine.
- Operate the starter motor and check for a spark at the plug.
- Is there a spark?

Yes:

No:
^ Proceed to: Checking Engine Speed Sensor Signal.
