Checking Throttle Cable
- Check that the throttle cable is not sticking.
- Proceed to: Checking Throttle Angle section below.
Checking Throttle Angle
- Start the engine and idle it.
- Go into scrolling values.
- Read OFF throttle angle value.
- Throttle angle should be 0° at closed throttle position (CTP).
If reading is OK:
^ Proceed to: Checking for Air Leakage.
If reading is incorrect:
^ Proceed to: Checking Link section below.
Checking Link
- Check that throttle spindle is in contact with adjustment screw (A) when the throttle pulley is in contact with the idling stop.
- Is the throttle spindle in contact with the adjustment screw?
Yes:
^ Try a new throttle body (TB).
No:
^ Adjust link.
