Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Testing and Inspection

Flame Trap Removal:

1. Remove flame trap
- Turn trap casing about 15 mm to left (bayonet connection).
- Withdraw trap
- Remove oil filler cap
- Clean hoses by blowing into crankcase.
- Change engine oil.
- Capacity:
Without filter: 5.25 L (5.5 US qts)
Including filter: 5.75 L (6 US qts)

Flame Trap:

2. Install flame trap
- Install trap in intake hose and turn trap casing into position
