Removing Soundproofing Panel And Knee Bolster

NOTE: The figure shows the driver's side. The method of replacing the knee bolster is basically the same on both sides.

Remove:




- Soundproofing panel (2 x Torx 25)
- connector from lighting in soundproofing panel.
- knee bolster (2 screws, 2 nuts).

Installing Soundproofing Panel And Knee Bolster

Install:




- knee bolster (2 screws, 2 nuts).
Knee bolster tightening torque M6 = 5.9 ft lbs.
Knee bolster tightening torque M8 = 15 ft lbs.
- Connector to lighting in soundproofing panel.
- Soundproofing panel (2 x Torx 25)
