Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Condition:
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored within 2 seconds when there is a short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable and speed is > 2 km/h (1.2 mph).

Possible Source:
There is a short-circuit to supply voltage in the speed signal cable between the combined instrument panel and ECC.

Fault Symptom(s):

NOTE: The combined instrument panel displays no visible symptoms of this diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

- In cars with ECC, blower fan speed does not drop with increasing speed.
- In cars equipped with a trip computer, incorrect values for average speed, average fuel consumption, actual fuel consumption and trip computer trip odometer are displayed.
