Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Condition
- The combined instrument panel registers a engine speed (RPM) signal that exceeds 300 Hz (which corresponds to approximately 9,000 rpm).

Possible Source:
- Loose connections in signal cable/connectors.
- Signal cable insulation damaged.
- The signal cable is too close to a source of interference.
- High contact resistance.

Fault Symptom(s):
Tachometer indicates too high a value.
