Signal Too Low

MB1 Status Check:





- Start engine.
- Go into scrolling values.
- Read off status of generator (GEN) charge voltage. Is the status high?

Yes: MB4
No: MB2

MB2 Checking the Charging System:
Check charging system for low charge voltage. Then continue with MB3.

MB3 Verification:





After carrying out the repair check that the fault has been remedied.

- Ignition off.
- Reconnect connectors, reinstall components.
- Start engine.
- Go into scrolling values. Read off status of generator (GEN) charge voltage. Is the status high?

Yes: Fault corrected
No: Fault not found

MB4 Faulty Signal, Intermittent Fault:
Check charging system for intermittent low charge voltage fault causes.
