4-4-2 PULSED SECONDARY AIR INJECTION SYSTEM FLOW FAULTTrouble Code Conditions
- The pulsed secondary air injection system (PAIR) is checked by disabling the long-term fuel trim and stopping canister purge (CP) valve control. The engine control module (ECM) then checks the short-term fuel trim integrator, if it is at maximum diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-442 Pulsed secondary air injection system will be stored.

- This diagnostic trouble code is always stored together with EFI-446 Pulsed Secondary Air Injection Leakage Fault or EFI-448 Pulsed Secondary Air Injection Pump Flow Fault.
