Check that the control module is designed for TRACS Compare the part number with the specification

Is it the correct type of control module ?

Yes: Fault not found
No: AAB2

Replacement of component

Replace with a control module designed for TRACS as Per MMMM. Control module, replacement.

Then continue with: AAB3

Verification






Hint: After repair, it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified

- Ignition off
- Reconnect the connections, components etc.
- Ignition on

When the ignition is switched on, the control module activates the TRACS warning light which then goes off after approx. 2 seconds

Note! The warning light does not go off if a fault has been registered

Press the TRACS switch and keep it pressed and check that the TRACS warning light is activated

Is the warning light activated ?

Yes: Fault corrected
No: AAB4

Fault-tracing information

The fault should now have been diagnosed and corrected. Since this is not the case the fault-tracing has failed.

Do you want to exit fault-tracing?

Yes: Fault not corrected
No: AAB1
