Condition

- DTCs not posted.
- The fault is permanent.

Possible source

- Low brake fluid level.
- Signal cable short-circuit to ground.
- Defective brake fluid level sensor.
- Defective instrument sensor.
- Defective charging system.

Warning! If the warning light is activated when driving or when braking, the brake fluid level is too low and the vehicle should not be driven before the fault has been rectified.

Check the brake fluid level






Check whether the brake fluid level is too low. Brake fluid reservoir should be full

Is the brake fluid level OK?

Yes:
No: FFB2

Take appropriate action for low brake fluid level

Check that there is nothing causing a brake fluid leakage in the hydraulic brake system

Take appropriate action

- Fill up with brake fluid
- Start the engine and check that the warning light "Brake circuit out of system "goes out

Then continue with: Fault corrected
