Introduction CAN and Driver information Module (CDM)
The combined instrument panel has a number of new features, both in terms of lay out and function. It is the network main module and is called CDM = Can and Driver information Module.

Service reminder lamp (SRL)
The lamp can be reset both manually and using VIDA. It is manually reset as follows:
- Press in the button to reset the trip meter and hold it in.
- Turn on ignition.
- Hold the button pressed in (approximately 10 seconds) until the lamp begins to flash.
- While the lamp is flashing (approximately 4 seconds), release the button, reset is complete.

Indicator and warning lamps
The new check/warning lamps are as follows:
- CRUISE/ROPS
- CRUISE= Cruise control is on and activated.
- ROPS= fault in the roll over protection system (Cabriolet with cruise control missing CRUISE lamp).
- ETS= Warns of faults in the electronically controlled throttle.
