Dashboard / Interior trim





Dashboard
The dashboard consists of a plastic carrier with rubber and vacuum molded sheeting.
The dashboard and all the accessories are mounted in a curved pipe with welded brackets for installation to bodywork/ A post. In the process the steering column, climate control system, knee bolster wiring etc. are installed onto the curved pipe and is then lifted into the car as one unit.
The dashboard is available in 4 colors.

Center console switches (new)
The switch to fold in the power door mirrors in from the folded out position or out from the folded in position.
The switch to fold the outer rear seat headrests forwards.

Note! When head restraints are folded forward it is impossible for anyone to sit in the outer seating positions This is for safety reasons.

The switch to activate or deactivate the STC system.
The switch for private locking of the trunk lid and glove compartment When the button is pressed the trunk lid and glove compartment cannot be opened with the remote control. They can only be opened using the master key.

Note! Master key must be in position II for private locking/unlocking to be possible.

The switch for the Mass movement sensor

Interior lighting
The front roof lighting is located in the center of the roof by the windshield and has integrated reading lamps.
The rear roof lighting is located in the center of the roof against the rear windshield, the rear roof lighting also has integrated reading lamps.

Cargo compartment
The battery is located in the cargo compartment.
To prevent the oxyhydrogen remaining in the cargo compartment there is an evacuation hose which draws any oxyhydrogen from the battery to the fresh air. When replacing the battery, it is imperative that the evacuation hose is connected to the new battery and that it is routed to the outlet in the bodywork.
The cargo compartment lighting is located on the left /right sides of the sill trim panel. The lighting comes on automatically when the cargo compartment is opened.
The handles for folding the rear seats are located on the right and left in the cargo compartment.

Door panels, side impact protection block
The door panels have a wood fiber lining. The lower section of the panel is always covered with carpet. The sunblind for the rear panels is available as an option.
The dashboard is available in 2 colors.
The side impact protection blocks in the doors are a carry over from the P80.

Panels
The panels for the A, B, C/D posts are injection molded with textile but the lower section is plastic.
The panels are available in 3 colors.

Headlining
The headlining is self supporting and covered with foam rubber and textile. Cantrail panels are discontinued and the headlining extends into the door trim moldings.

Storage compartments
There are number of storage compartments around the car. There are storage compartments in the front door panels, the glove compartment, center console, front seats backrest, pockets at the front edge of the rear seat cushion, the rear doors panels and armrest.
There is a load curtain in the cargo compartment to anchor light objects.
