Signal too low. Intermittent fault.

Check connectors
Check central electronic module (CEM) connector for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults , and for a loose contact as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check especially for any damage.

Hint: If cause of fault is found, then install components, connect connector etc.
If cause of fault is not found do not install central electronic module (CEM) until you have completed the trouble-shooting.

Checking the wires
Check the wire between central electronic module (CEM) connector 2B and ignition lock connector X for an intermittent open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults , and for a short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Replace fuse 11C/7 if necessary.

Additional information
- The voltage should be the same as the battery voltage with the key in position I and II.
