Checking the connectors
- Ignition off.

Check for any damage.
Hint: Reinstall the connectors, components etc. If the fault cause is not found, do not reinstall the control module before continuing with fault-tracing.

- Ignition off.
Check the cable between control module connector terminal #20A and ignition switch connector terminal #50. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage or an open-circuit.

- The voltage must be 0 V if the key is in position 0, I or II.
