Checking for permanent or intermittent faults
Check that the front door locks can be operated using the driver door key.

Checking the wires
Check control unit and lock unit connectors for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault , and for a loose contact as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the wire between door control unit and lock unit on driver and passenger doors for a short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.

DDM/PDM-0019 Central locking input (ULK)
Door control unit A12 and driver/passenger doors 1.

DDM/PDM-001A Central locking input (LK)
Door control unit A13 and driver/passenger doors 5.

DDM/PDM-001B Central locking, key cylinder
Door control units A13 and driver/passenger doors 5, and door control unit A12 and driver/passenger doors 1.
Do the necessary corrective action.

Additional information:
- With ignition off, voltage between control unit 12B and ground should be battery voltage.
