- Open the filler cap.
- Start the engine and let it remain idle.
Read the tank pressure.
Hint: The tank pressure must be greater than -10 hPa. The normal value is close to 0 hPa.

- Remove the hose that runs between the EVAP valve and the canister from the EVAP valve.
- Start the engine and let it remain idle.
Read the EVAP valve pulse signal.
When the pulse signal is 0%, there must not be any vacuum in the EVAP valve.

Check that the canister valve is not sealed.
Check that the canister valve filter is not sealed.
Check the hose between the canister and canister valve and the hose between the canister valve and its filter for blockage and clamping.
Check the canister valve's connection to the canister for blockage.
Do the necessary corrective action.
