CCU-216 Hood Cover Lock Microswitch

Condition:
If the hood cover lock is indicated to be in the locked position when it should be unlocked, diagnostic trouble code CCU-216 is displayed.

Possible Source:
- The microswitch has become stuck in one position.
- Short circuit to ground in the signalling circuit.

Fault Symptom(s):
Power root (hood) mechanism not working.
