Checking the air conditioning (A/C) system operating noise level

Checking the air conditioning (A/C) system operating noise level

Hint: When a fault has been detected, it is necessary to check that the symptom no longer exists.
Check as follows:

- Ignition off.
- Connect connectors, reinstall components etc.
- Start the engine.
- Move the air conditioning (A/C) switch to on.
- Set the blower fan to the highest speed.
- Listen to the air conditioning (A/C) system operational noise. Normal operational noise is a soft whirring from the air conditioning (A/C) system pump and compressor. There is also some noise when the refrigerant moves from gas to liquid form.

Is the A/C system free from abnormal noises, such as low frequency rumbling and metallic knocking or slamming?

Yes - VERIFIED
