Installing screwed joints
General requirements
Clean all mating surfaces in the joint, first mechanically and then with a degreasing agent. If necessary, replace screws and nuts with torque-tightened joints.
Note! Lock nuts must always be replaced. If re-using screws and nuts always clean and grease them first. Always replace screws, or screws and nuts with torque-angle-tightened joints.
The given values for the tightening torques are accurate to within ± 5%. 1 Nm = 0.1kpm.
