Is the breakout box connected? Have the ground terminals been checked?

Yes - DONE

No - Areas of use for the breakout box

------------------------

Areas of use for the breakout box
Breakout box 981 3190 Replaced by 9511428 981 3190 Replaced by 951 1428 is designed to facilitate reading off:
- the control module input and output signals when the control module is connected
- the resistance of cables and components when the control module is disconnected
The breakout box makes it safer to take readings because it is easier to see and access measurement points. The risk of accidental short-circuits and damaged connector pins is also reduced.
Switch off the power to the ECC control module when connecting the breakout box otherwise the control module may be damaged and incorrect diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored.
