Introduction

Climate control

The climate control system in the Volvo P23 is modified compared to the S/V 70. The greatest change is the integration with the new network based electrical system. The network module Climate control module (CCM) controls all climate functions.
The climate control is as previously available in 3 versions:
- ECC, (Electronic Climate Control) which is a fully automatic climate control system with air conditioning and that also allows manual settings.
- MCC, (Manual Climate Control) which is a manual climate control system with air conditioning.
- STD, (Standard heater), is a manual climate control, without air conditioning.
Increased diagnostic functions accessible via the data link connector (DLC) with VIDA. Reading/erasing the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), reading off/ changing customer parameters and reading off the in and output signals.
The module is aligned by programming via the data link connector (DLC) with VIDA.

Other
The particle filter is standard and is mounted downstream of the blower fan so that even recirculated air is cleaned. (previously available as an option). Replace at 15,000 Km or every 2 years.
Refrigerant may only be topped up on the high pressure side of the system to avoid the risk of refrigerant entering the compressor.
