Checking component and wiring
Check outside temperature sensor resistance.
Check signal cable between control module #B29 (#B39) and outside temperature sensor #1 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault
Hint: With the ignition on and outside temperature sensor connector disconnected the voltage between #1 and ground terminal should be approximately 5V.
Remedy as necessary.
