Signal Too High. Intermittent Fault
Signal too high. Intermittent fault
Checking the wires
Check relay coil driver for an intermittent short circuit to voltage supply by checking the voltage on 2 in the relay socket to relay 2/59.
For additional information regarding a short circuit to voltage supply, see Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Hint: The voltage between 2 and ground must be approximately 0 V.
If the voltmeter indicates an incorrect value, the control unit should be replaced.
Additional information:
- To access/replace the relay/fuse box in the boot, see Integrated relay/fusebox cargo compartment/Rear electronic module (REM), replacing Integrated Relay/Fusebox Cargo Compartment/Rear Electronic Module (REM), Replacing.

Fault-tracing information
If the fault is intermittent, do not verify fault-tracing if the fault does not recur.
It is possible to view the information again, or leave fault-tracing for this diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
Do you want to view the information again?
Yes - Attempt New Test
