Checking The Central Locking Switch
Checking the central locking switch
Checking the locking signal from the central locking switch
- Ignition on.
Read off central locking switch status.
Depress central locking switch to its locking position.
The value should be LOW when the central locking switch is depressed to its locking position.
Note! A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central locking switch is held in the locking position for more than 10 seconds with the ignition on.
Is the value OK?
Yes - Checking unlocking signal from the central locking switch
No - Checking wiring and connectors

- Ignition on.
Read off central locking switch status.
Press the central locking switch, first to its locking position and then to its unlocking position.
The values should change from HIGH to LOW when the central locking switch is pushed to the relevant position.
Note! A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central locking switch is held in the locking / unlocking position for more than 10 seconds.
Are these readings OK.
