Description of parameters
High beam flash
Input signal from the switch for high beam flash.
Off = Switch not activated.
On = Switch activated.
Lighting switch
Input signal from the lighting switch. Displays its position.
Position 0 = Off.
Position 1 = Parking lamps.
Position 2 = Low or high beam.
Incorrect position 2 = Signal missing from the lighting switch.
High / low beam switch
Input signal from the high / low beam switch.
Low = No signal from the switch.
High = Signal from the switch.
When the high / low beam switch is activated, the signal changes from one position to the other and the control module changes the output signal to the high / low beam.
Note! The signal displays if high or low beam is activated.
High beam
Output signal for high beam, high beam warning lamp and the socket for auxiliary lamps.
Off = High beam off.
On = High beam on.
Low beam
Output signal to low beam.
Off = Low beam off.
On = Low beam on.
Parking lamps
Output signal to the parking lamps.
Off = Parking lamps off.
On = Parking lamps on.
Tail lamps / side marker lamps
Output signal to the tail lamps / side marker lamps.
Off = Tail lamps / side marker lamps off.
On = Tail lamps / side marker lamps on.
Rheostat, turn angle
Input signal from the rheostat.
The value varies between 0-60° depending on the position of the rheostat.
Instrument lighting
Output signal for the lighting in the combined instrument panel, information center, cigarette lighter etc.
The value varies between 6-100% or 20-100% depending on the market the for which the automatic low beam is programmed.
Switch, front fog lamp
Input signal from the switch for the front fog lamps.
Off = Switch not activated.
On = Switch activated.
Note! Fog lamp activation is market dependent. In certain markets, the lighting switch must be in position 2.
Front fog lamps
Output signal to the front fog lamps.
Off = Indicator lamp off.
On = Indicator lamp on.
Note! Fog lamp activation is market dependent. In certain markets, the lighting switch must be in position 2.
Switch, rear fog lamp
Input signal from the switch for the rear fog lamp.
Off = Switch not activated.
On = Switch activated.
Note! Fog lamp activation is market dependent. In certain markets, the lighting switch must be in position 2.
Rear fog lamp
Output signal to the rear fog lamp.
Off = Indicator lamp off.
On = Indicator lamp on.
Note! Fog lamp activation is market dependent. In certain markets, the lighting switch must be in position 2.
Stop lamp switch
Input signal from the stop lamp switch.
Off = stop lamp switch not activated.
On = stop lamp switch activated.
Back-up (reversing) lamps switch
Input signal from the back-up (reversing) lamp switch.
Off = Back-up (reversing) lamp switch not activated.
On = Back-up (reversing) lamp switch activated.
Bulb failure warning sensor
Output signal for the warning lamp for the bulb failure warning sensor.
Off = Warning lamp off.
On = Warning lamp on.
Windshield wiper, intermittent wiper switch
Input signal from the intermittent wiper switch in the windshield wiper lever.
Off = Switch not activated.
On = Switch activated.
Windshield wiper, parking position switch
Input signal from the parking position switch in the windshield wiper motor.
Parked = Windshield wiper motor in parking position.
Not parked = Windshield wiper motor not in parking position.
Windshield wipers
Power supply to the windshield wiper motor via the windshield wiper lever.
Off = Windshield wiper motor not activated.
On = Windshield wiper motor activated.
Switch, windshield washer
Input signal from the switch for the windshield washer.
Off = Switch not activated.
On = Switch activated.
Switch, tailgate wiper
Input signal from the switch for the tailgate wiper.
Model year -2001
Off = Switch not activated.
On = Switch activated.
Model year 2002-
Off = Switch not activated.
On = Switch in continuous wiping position.
Intermittent = Switch in intermittent wiping position.
Faulty = Faulty combination of signals from the switch on the lever. This reply means that there is a fault in the circuit from the switch terminals #3 and #5 to the central electronic module.
Tailgate wiper
Output signal to the tailgate wiper motor.
Off = Tailgate wiper motor not activated.
On = Tailgate wiper motor activated.
Switch, tailgate washer
Input signal from the switch for the tailgate washer.
Off = Switch not activated.
On = Switch activated.
Battery voltage
15/2 power supply from the ignition switch. Displays the voltage in the cable when the ignition switch is in position 2.
The following values can be displayed:
< 6.5 V
6.5 - 8.0 V
8.0 - 10.5 V
10.5 - 15.0 V
> 15.0 V.
Ignition switch
Power supply from the ignition switch. There are three power supplies: 15/1, 15/2 and 75.
Position 0 = Off.
Position 1 = Radio position.
Position 2 = On.
Position 3 = Engine start.
Incorrect position 0 = Impermissible combination of input signals.
Incorrect position 2 = Impermissible combination of input signals.
Speed signal
Input signal from the combined instrument panel. The value displays the vehicle speed.
Measurement range 0-255 km/h.
