Adjusting the fuel tank filler cover




For the fuel tank filler cover lock mechanism to function properly, the fuel tank filler cover must be adjusted.
Adjust the fuel tank filler cover. See point 1 and 2 below. Adjust using the screws (1). Tighten to 8 Nm.
- 1)Ensure that the fuel tank filler cover is positioned exactly in the center of the opening in the bodywork. The distance between the fuel tank filler cover edges and the bodywork must be the same all the way around the fuel tank filler cover
- 2)Ensure that the front edge of the fuel tank filler cover is aligned with the body or a maximum of 0.5 mm inside thebody.




Adjust the fuel tank filler cover. See point 3 below. Turn the rubber screw (2) clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Note! The mark on the rubber screw indicates maximum height.

- 3)Ensure that the rear edge of the fuel tank filler cover is aligned with the body or a maximum of 0.5 mm outside thebody.
