Reading off the programmed values
Information about reading off parameters
Before the control module is replaced it is vital that the programming is read off the old combined instrument panel.
Read off the programmed values in the old control module. Note the values.
If it is not possible to read off the values, consult the either the manager, the sales company or the customer so that the new control module is programmed with the same values as the old control module.
Reading off is divided into two sections; one section for the parameters that can be programmed and one section for the parameters that are factory programmed or programmed by the manufacturer.
Select one of the following functions:
1. Read off the customer programmed values, instruments only calibrated in kilometers
2. Read off the customer programmed values, instruments calibrated in both miles and kilometers
3. Read off the factory programmed values
4. Finish reading off.

Information about PIN code protected settings
The following settings can be programmed; however they are protected with a PIN code:
- Calibration of the fuel consumption function in the trip computer
- The fuel level at which the fuel level warning lamp should be lit
- The type of fuel level sensor
- The type of engine management system for the engine coolant temperature display
- The speedometer display
- Updating the combined instrument panel settings for diesel engine D4192T2 model year 2000.
Software must be ordered to program these settings. See 9139884.
Programming is possible when the software is available. See 9139884.
