Programming the outside temperature display

Caution! If the display is installed, it must be programmed before the temperature will be displayed.

Note! A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) will be stored if programming is carried out when an outside temperature sensor is not installed.




- Ignition on.
Read off the programmed values by clicking on the VCT 2000 symbol
Select the correct type of display.

Caution! If the combined instrument panel display is in kilometers, the kilometer display (metric) must be selected.If the combined instrument panel display is in miles, the miles display (imperial) must be selected.









Select Continue.

Caution! This programming is only relevant if the display for outside temperature / trip computer function is installed / programmed.




- Ignition on.
Read off the programmed values by clicking on the VCT 2000 symbol
Use this parameter to set the outside temperature unit to display readings in °C or °F.
To change this parameter, mark the desired value in the list and start programming.









Select Continue.

Continue - DONE
