Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) CEM-1A09 is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers a short-circuit to supply voltage in the 50-supply for more than two seconds.

- Short-circuit to supply voltage in 50-supply for more than two seconds.
- Defective ignition switch.

- The starter motor does not turn.
