If the central electronic module (CEM) registers that communication with the driver information module (DIM) does not work, diagnostic trouble code CEM-1A56 is displayed.

Possible source
- No power supply to DIM control unit
- Contact resistance in the connectors
- Open circuit on the CAN bus
- Defective DIM control unit.

Condition
- No indicators are working
- Instrument lighting does not work.
