If the central electronic module (CEM) registers that communication with the upper electronic module (UEM) does not work, diagnostic trouble code CEM-1A5C is displayed.

Possible source
- No power supply to UEM control unit
- Contact resistance in the connectors
- Open circuit on the CAN bus
- Defective UEM control unit.

Condition
- Can not be operated with remote control
- Electric sunroof does not work
- Interior lighting does not work.
