Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SWM-001E is stored if the micro processor or steering wheel module registers that the Volume- switch is activated for more than 5 minutes.

- The Volume- switch is activated for more than 5 minutes.

Condition
- The volume changes without the volume up or volume down buttons being manually activated
- The steering wheel radio controls do not function
- The steering wheel carphone controls do not function.
